AnimeJapan 2027 Manga Adaptation Poll Opens Nominations
Fans can submit manga they want animated from October 21 to November 12, 2026, with the TOP10 revealed at AnimeJapan 2027 in March.
Nominations opened on October 21, 2026 for the 10th edition of the annual poll of manga fans want to see adapted into anime, which this year carries the title "Manga We Want to See Animated Ranking 2027," according to animeanime.jp. The nomination window runs until November 12, 2026 at 23:59.
Eligible works are manga that have not yet been adapted into anime, including web comics and ongoing series that have not been collected into volumes. Works already inducted into the poll's hall of fame are excluded.
The main ranking vote will be held from December 22, 2026 to January 30, 2027. The TOP10 results will be announced at an awards ceremony during AnimeJapan 2027, scheduled for March 2027 at Intex Osaka.
The TOP10 works receive recognition along with a promotional exhibit and a screening of an award PV at the AnimeJapan 2027 venue.
Past editions and adaptations
The poll has a record of picking titles that go on to be animated: SPY×FAMILY, The Apothecary Diaries and Oshi no Ko all ranked highly in past editions and were later adapted into hits. More than 30 works from the poll have been adapted into anime so far, and the previous 2026 edition nominated 48 works and recorded 222,758 total votes.
