Aniplex's Yuma Takahashi reveals four MC trainees at Machi★Asobi vol.31
Three of the four voice actors appeared on stage in Tokushima, where one of them revealed he is a world yo-yo champion.
Aniplex producer Yuma Takahashi presented his MC Training Project and its four selected voice-actor trainees at Machi★Asobi vol.31 in Tokushima Prefecture on October 17, 2026, according to Gigazine.
About 20 applicants were gathered through voice actor agencies, and four were chosen by audition: Katsuhiro Tokuishi, Yu Kosaka, Yu Kawada and Yuki Ayami. Tokuishi and Kosaka belong to 81 Produce, Kawada to Rakuen Dog and Ayami to Across Entertainment.
Tokuishi, Kosaka and Kawada appeared on stage and introduced themselves. Ayami was absent because of work commitments.
The three then took part in a “3-minute theme talk MC challenge,” each hosting a three-minute talk with the other two as guests.
Kawada told the audience that he is a world champion in yo-yo and performed a trick on stage. Takahashi said he plans to work with all four selected members going forward and that he himself will not retire.
