Aogiri High School to Resume Official YouTube Posting in October 2026, Cancels December Music Festival
The viviON-operated VTuber group said in an October 15 notice that it will shift resources to individual activities and cancel the December music festival announced for its 2026 event.
viviON's VTuber group Aogiri High School published a notice on October 15 titled "Review of Management System and Future Activity Policy," according to game.watch.impress.co.jp. The notice states that the group will resume posting on its official YouTube channel from October 2026 onward, and that the December music festival previously announced for "Aogiri High School Entrance Festival 2026!" has been cancelled.
The notice says the return to official channel posting will focus on content unique to that channel, including adjustments to the number of posts and projects that gather multiple members. The group cancelled the December music festival after judging that it is difficult at present to responsibly deliver a performance that would satisfy fans.
Going forward, management will concentrate on supporting individual channels and individual activities, covering planning, production, sales and rights confirmation. Resources previously used for official channel production will be reallocated to individual activities.
Earlier postponement and suspension
On September 10, 2026, the group announced the postponement of member Chiyoura Chomi's live event, which had been scheduled for September 12–13, 2026, two days before the event was to take place. On September 11, 2026, the group said it would reorganize its management system and temporarily suspended content updates and posting on the official YouTube channel.
After that, operational troubles continued, including erroneous reposts on the official X account. A music festival had been announced for December at "Aogiri High School Entrance Festival 2026!" as a group-wide event.
