Apothecary Diaries Escape Game Opens January 28, 2027

SCRAP has announced a new real escape game collaboration with the anime The Apothecary Diaries, titled Real Escape Game x The Apothecary Diaries: Escape from the Murderous Banquet. The game will be held starting January 28, 2027 at Tokyo Mystery Circus before rolling out nationwide in Japan, according to animeanime.jp.

The game uses a completely original story and newly recorded voice lines. In the plot, a bride collapses from poison during a noble's wedding ceremony. The participant, playing a trainee pharmacist, must identify the poison, compound an antidote and investigate the case alongside Maomao, Jinshi and Gaoshun.

Play time is about 120 minutes, with a 60-minute time limit, for teams of up to four people in an indoor hall-sized venue.

Tickets and goods

Fan club members of Shonen Tantei SCRAP Dan can buy pre-sale tickets from November 14, 2026 at 12:00, with general sales opening November 21, 2026 at 12:00. Advance tickets cost 3,900 yen on weekdays and 4,200 yen on weekends and holidays, with an option to add a goods ticket for 2,800 yen.

The goods set includes a tatami-material original coaster, an original teacup and a limited puzzle with an original story. The bonus set can also be bought on the day of the event for 3,000 yen. A key visual will be released at a later date.

The event is the second collaboration of its kind, following Real Escape Game x The Apothecary Diaries: Yokohama Nazotoki Machiaruki, which is currently running in Yokohama Chinatown. The anime's third season began in October 2026, and the series' first film, The Apothecary Diaries: The Secret of the Poisoned Bride, opens on December 11.
