Bandai Namco Postpones Mall of America Store Openings

The Mall of America locations would have marked the latest expansions for Bandai Namco's retail presence. In February 2025, Bandai Namco Amusement America opened a Bandai Namco Cross Store in Brooklyn, New York City. The company also opened Gundam Base Chicago in December 2025 at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont, Illinois.
Bandai Namco Amusement operates 13 Bandai Namco Cross Store locations in Japan. Its first Cross Store outside Japan opened in Camden, London, in August 2023. The first official Gundam Base store opened in Korea in 2003, and the Gundam Base Tokyo location opened in 2017.
Anime News Network will update this story when a new opening date is announced.
