Bandai Opens Pre-Orders for Oden-Themed Mascot Figures
The seven-figure collection based on the mascot series will ship around late February 2027, with each gashapon play priced at 300 yen.
Bandai has opened pre-orders on Gashapon Online for a seven-figure mascot collection themed around oden, the Japanese hot pot dish, according to animeanime.jp. The collection is based on the mascot series whose characters appear as oden ingredients.
The set contains seven figures roughly 3cm tall, each modelled on original drawings of the main mascot character and its friends reimagined as oden ingredients. The lineup includes versions of the main character as an oden item and as a hanpen fish cake, alongside characters cast as mochi kinchaku, knotted kelp and octopus-leg and mustard-filled cat figures, plus a red paper-lantern jelly character.
Each play costs 300 yen including tax. Pre-orders close at 23:59 on October 26, 2026, and orders will stop once the prepared quantity is reached.
Shipping is scheduled for around late February 2027. Bandai also notes that the items may be sold first in capsule vending machines nationwide.
