The television anime adaptation of Charisma revealed additional staff and a key visual during a special livestream presentation, according to myanimelist.net. The anime is set to premiere on TBS affiliate networks in January 2027.
Jouji Furuta is directing the anime at Pierrot Films, with Shuu Matsubara handling series composition and script and overseeing the original story. Ebimo is providing the original character designs, while Haru Watanabe serves as character design and chief animation director alongside Han Seungah.
The production team also includes art director Seiki Tamura, color designer Yukiko Kakita, director of photography Susumu Fukushi, editor Kumiko Sakamoto, and music by Gesshoku Kaigi. Music production is by Evil Line Records, sound direction by Kyoko Wada and Shuu Matsubara, and sound production by Rakuonsha. Producers are Kotaro Sudo, Soichiro Hidano, and Yoshihiro Tominaga.
King Records launched the Charisma House multimedia project under its Evil Line Records label in August 2021. Rin Manda and Iori Irino serialized the manga Charisma: Kyou mo Heiwa desu in Dessert magazine from January 2023 to December 2024, and its second volume went on sale on March 13 last year. Sou Tobita launched the spin-off manga Charisma: Charisma na Karera wa Charisma House de Karizumai-chu in Comic DAYS magazine, running from February 2023 to December 2023, with its second volume released in February 2024.
The TV anime adaptation was announced on November 29, 2025, and the main staff and Winter 2027 premiere were previously reported on March 23.
