Crunchyroll Launches Korean Service with Two Subscription Tiers

Crunchyroll's Korean service goes live on the 8th with Fan and Mega Fan plans, offline viewing, and over 20 fall titles planned.

Crunchyroll launched its official Korean service on the 8th, according to gamemeca.com. The streaming platform is offering two subscription plans in the country: Fan at 9,900 won per month and Mega Fan at 10,900 won per month.

Mega Fan subscribers receive offline viewing, simultaneous streaming on up to 4 devices, and access to over 100 games. The company was also designated as a self-classification operator by the Korea Media Rating Board for its Korean service.

Crunchyroll plans to release more than 20 new titles in the fall season. It will also hold its first Crunchyroll Pop-Up Festival in Seoul at the end of October.

The platform’s existing library includes popular anime such as One Punch Man, Tower of God, Fire Force, and True Beauty, along with theatrical films like Chainsaw Man: The Movie: Reze Arc and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Chapter 1, as well as anime adaptations of games such as Sekiro: No Defeat.
