Sony to Launch Dedicated Crunchyroll Hub on PlayStation in Spring 2027

Sony's CEO and President of Entertainment, Hideaki Nishino, announced at the Crunchyroll Anime Future Forum on October 7, 2026, that Crunchyroll is being integrated into the PlayStation platform in new ways, according to Screen Rant. A dedicated Crunchyroll hub will launch on PlayStation consoles in Spring 2027.
The hub is expected to have its own section on the console's home screen rather than being placed under the usual media tab.
