Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Debuts on Netflix, With a Possible Female V Cameo
Episode 4's Arasaka wanted list appears to include David Martinez and a figure fans say matches Cyberpunk 2077's default female V.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is now streaming on Netflix, according to gamesradar.com, and viewers have already zeroed in on a single frame in episode 4 that may tie the new season directly to Cyberpunk 2077.
The season is set one year after the events of Cyberpunk 2077. In the fourth episode, D. and Roman infiltrate an Arasaka Data Archive to find out who was responsible for the massacre of D.'s Snake Nation clan. There, Capri recovers a list of individuals Arasaka is seeking for the Capricorn Project.
The wall of faces on that list includes D., season 1 protagonist David Martinez, and a figure that some fans say resembles the female V of Cyberpunk 2077. Those viewers point to the character's hair and face markings as matching the game's default female V model. Other fans dispute the resemblance and cite minor differences.
The same screen appears to reference Dum Dum, Evelyn and Melissa Rory. Rory, a cyberpsycho wielding Mantis Blades, first appeared in a 2013 teaser for Cyberpunk 2077.
Soulkiller also returns this season, with the digital construct Capri merging with D. In Cyberpunk 2077, the experimental technology allowed Johnny Silverhand to invade V's head.
