DC Comics has introduced a new character, Ms. Terrific, in the pages of The Deadman #5. According to Screen Rant, the issue reveals that the hero's real name is Amril Melville and that she possesses a higher IQ than Mr. Terrific, the previous smartest hero in the DC Universe.

In the same issue, Ms. Terrific is attacked by a swarm of birds, a scene that marks her first major appearance in the series.

The Deadman #6 will shift to the present day and follow the protagonist Boston Brand as he navigates a future without Heaven or Hell. The issue will also feature a conflict with Mr. M and his Soul-Eaters.

Mr. Terrific, also known as Michael Holt, has earned 14 Ph.Ds and founded Holt Industries. The character was inspired by Terry Sloan, the original Mr. Terrific.
