Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Remaster Hits Crunchyroll October 11
The remastered Dragon Ball Super saga arrives on Crunchyroll with faster pacing and updated visuals, plus new opening and ending themes.
Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, a remastered version of the Dragon Ball Super anime with faster pacing and updated visuals, premieres on Crunchyroll on October 11, according to Crunchyroll.
The series is produced by Toei Animation with direction composition by Matsuto Seya. The opening theme, "ONOGAMI," is performed by MEGATERA·ZERO, while the ending theme, "Kan Peki No Peki," is performed by VK Blanka.
The Beerus character first appeared in the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods film, released in Japan in 2013 and in the US a year later. That film's storyline was later expanded into the first saga of the Dragon Ball Super anime, known as the God of Destruction Beerus Saga.
Dragon Ball Super is set after Goku defeated Majin Buu and after Dragon Ball DAIMA, but before the timeskip in the final three episodes of Dragon Ball Z.
The remaster follows a similar approach to ONE PIECE LOG: FISH-MAN ISLAND SAGA, which gave the same remastered treatment to the original Fish-Man Island Saga from almost 15 years earlier.
