Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Takes One Piece's Sunday Slot for 19 Episodes
The new Dragon Ball series will run 19 episodes in One Piece's former Sunday time slot, with its finale set for February 14, 2027.
Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is moving into the Sunday time slot vacated by One Piece, according to cbr.com. The series is set to run for 19 episodes, with its final episode scheduled to air on February 14, 2027.
The slot became available after One Piece stepped away from its weekly Sunday broadcast. One Piece had aired at 11:15pm on Sundays since April 2025, following a move to Sundays back in April 2001.
Both franchises come from Toei Animation and have long histories on Fuji TV. One Piece's anime debuted in 1999 and aired 1,180 episodes over 27 years, originally premiering on Fuji TV on Wednesdays at 7pm, where it stayed for nearly two years and 63 episodes.
The two properties have crossed over before: a three-way crossover between Dragon Ball, One Piece and Toriko was produced because all three Toei titles were part of Fuji TV's "Dream 9" programming block.
Dragon Ball Super: Beerus now inherits that Sunday berth, with its 19-episode run mapped out through February 2027.
