The design is based on an original premise in which G Cells are injected into Evangelion Unit-01, which awakens through fusion with Godzilla's G Cells. Godzilla's characteristic black skin is left exposed from the inside of the unit.
The kit ships with a pre-assembled central body, to which the skin and armor parts are attached. Pre-painted parts are included for the left and right eyes and the blade antenna base.
