Good Smile Company Joins Macross Modelers Collaboration
Good Smile Company confirmed it is joining the Macross Modelers multi-company collaboration and promoted its new Moderoid line of robot model kits.
Good Smile Company has announced that it is joining the Macross Modelers multi-company collaboration. The company confirmed the news through its general producer of the Mecha Smile brand, Hiro Tanaka, who appeared as a special guest on the weekly Macross Modelers web show.
The announcement also served to promote Good Smile Company's new Moderoid line of robot model kits.
Background
The Macross Modelers initiative began in 2015 alongside the debut of Macross Delta. Its collaboration already includes Aoshima Bunka Kyozai, Hasegawa, WAVE, Jujimi Mokei, Max Factory and Bandai Spirits.
Good Smile Company was founded in 2001 by Aki Takanori. In 2008, Good Smile Racing debuted as the company's professional racing team.
