Gundam SEED FREEDOM Hakata-ori coin purses launch November 14
STRICT-G's four silk coin purses, woven by Sanui Orimono and inspired by Hakata Niwaka half-masks, cost 3,300 yen each.
STRICT-G will release a line of four Hakata-ori silk coin purses themed on Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM characters, with general sales starting on November 14, 2026, according to animeanime.jp. Each purse is priced at 3,300 yen including tax.
The four designs feature Kira Yamato, Athrun Zala, Lacus Clyne and Cagalli Yula Athha. The purses are produced by the Hakata weaving maker Sanui Orimono.
The designs draw on the Hakata Niwaka half-masks of the Fukuoka folk performing art, and the zipper slider is shaped like a rice paddle.
General sales begin at STRICT-G stores including Odaiba, Tokyo Solamachi, NEOPASA Shizuoka (downbound) and Taga SA (downbound). Pre-orders on Premium Bandai's STRICT-G Online Store run from 13:00 on November 6 to 23:00 on November 23, 2026, with shipping planned for December.
The film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM opened on January 26, 2024 and set the highest box office record among theatrically released Gundam films. Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO, set between SEED DESTINY and SEED FREEDOM, is scheduled for release in January 2027.
