Hirayasumi Anime Adds Five Cast Members Ahead of January 2027 Premiere
The new cast additions come as NHK General prepares to air the series in Japan, with Viz Media planning an English release.
Five additional cast members have been announced for the Hirayasumi anime, according to Anime News Network. The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan in January 2027 on the NHK General channel.

It was also nominated for Best Continuing Manga Series in the 2nd American Manga Awards.
Before the anime's television debut, Viz Media and Japan Society hosted the world premiere screening of the first episode at Japan Society in New York City on October 7. A live-action series inspired by Hirayasumi premiered on NHK in November 2025.
