The anime adaptation of Though I Am an Inept Villainess has confirmed a second cour, scheduled to premiere in January 2027. Alongside the announcement, an epilogue visual was revealed.
The new cour shifts to early autumn, with its story centering on the Harvest Festival in the southern lands ruled by the Shu clan.
Mitsue Yamazaki directs the series at studio Doga Kobo. Yoshiko Nakamura is in charge of series composition, and Ai Kikuchi designs the characters. Manaka Iwami voices Kou Reirin, with Natsumi Kawaida as Shu Keigetsu.
The series is based on a light novel by Satsuki Nakamura, first published online in July 2020. Ichijinsha released the print edition with illustrations by YukiKana in December 2020, and a manga adaptation by Ei Ohitsuji began serialization in Monthly Comic Zero Sum around the same time.
