Kakao Piccoma launched Lulumiru, an e-bookstore dedicated entirely to BL titles, on 5 November 2026, according to gamebiz.jp. The service is available through a web browser on smartphones, tablets and PCs, with free registration and purchases made per title.
Lulumiru's main search feature matches readers by seme and uke preferences, displaying a compatibility percentage for each result. A separate work-tag search lets users exclude tags they do not want to see.
New members who register by 30 November 2026 receive a 50% off coupon that can be used repeatedly on all titles until 31 December 2026. The service will also run large outdoor advertisements in Ikebukuro from 9 to 22 November 2026.
Before launch, Kakao Piccoma held a trial event at its headquarters on 27 October 2026 for publishers, creators, influencers and media. In a survey of 73 participants, 98.6% said they were satisfied, and 95.9% found the seme x uke search useful for finding works they like.
