Kotomi Aoki will launch a new work for her Kanojo wa Uso o Ai Shisugiteru manga, the November issue of Shogakukan's Cheese! magazine announced. The new work will appear in the magazine's next issue on October 23, 2026, and will run 45 pages.
The new work commemorates the 10-year anniversary of the manga.
Aoki launched Kanojo wa Uso o Ai Shisugiteru in Cheese! magazine in 2009 and ended it in February 2017. Shogakukan published 22 compiled book volumes of the manga.
The series inspired a live-action film that opened in Japan in December 2013, along with a 10-episode live-action prologue that debuted the same month. It also received a new chapter for Aoki's art exhibit in 2018.
Aoki released a new chapter for the Niji, Amaete yo. manga in Cheese! in September 2020, and the series ended in November 2020 with the ninth volume. Her Boku wa Imōto ni Koi o Suru manga inspired a live-action film in 2006 and an OVA in 2005.
