The side story launched in the March issue of Kadokawa's Asuka magazine. The main Mr. Mallow Blue manga launched in Asuka in November 2019 and ended with its sixth volume on December 24.
The original series centers on social outcasts, including a fragile girl, a shut-in, and a cold-faced handsome man.
