The first part of season 3 ran for 14 episodes in Summer 2026. The series' first season had 23 episodes across split cours in Winter 2021 and Fall 2021, while the second season had 24 episodes, with the first part in Summer 2023 and the second part in Spring 2024.
The anime adapts Rifujin na Magonote's light novel, which was published on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website from November 2012 to April 2015. Kadokawa began printing the light novel with illustrations by Sirotaka under MF Books in January 2014 and released the 26th volume in November 2022.
