Nakama Press Licenses 100 Meters, Goku - Midnight Eye Manga

Nakama Press announced on October 22, 2026, that it has licensed Uoto's 100 Meters (Hyakuemu) manga and Buichi Terasawa's Goku - Midnight Eye, according to Anime News Network. The publisher also set a new release date for its Samurai Pizza Cats comic.

Nakama Press will publish the first volume of 100 Meters on February 17, 2027, and the second volume on April 27, 2027. The company shared an English cover and sample pages for the series.

The first volume of Goku - Midnight Eye is scheduled for March 2, 2027. Terasawa's three-volume manga originally launched in 1987; Yoshiaki Kawajiri directed an anime adaptation at Madhouse, with Terasawa and Ryūzō Nakanishi writing the script, and the OVA and a sequel released in 1989.

Samurai Pizza Cats, a 200-page middle-grade comic inspired by the Kyatto-Ninden Teyandee anime, is now set for December 8. It was first announced for release on April 7 of this year.

Anime Film Preceded the Manga License
