Merchandise using new "Trip or Sweet no Dan ver." illustrations of Nintama Rantaro characters has opened for preorder on the anime and manga goods online shop AMNIBUS, according to animeanime.jp.
The lineup covers trading acrylic cards, trading clear die-cut stickers, trading can badges, trading bromide cards, trading illustration cards, a BIG acrylic stand with parts, an A3 matte-finish poster, a 100mm can badge and trading die-cut stickers.
The new artwork features Rantaro Inadera, Kirimaru Settsuno, Shinbe Fukutomi, Hansuke Doi, Shirobee Tokitomo, Sakubei Tomimatsu, Kihachiro Ayabe, Heisuke Kukuchi and Isaku Zenpoji.
Series background
The original manga, Rantaro the Failed Ninja, began serialization in the Asahi Shogakusei Shimbun in 1986, and the TV anime Nintama Rantaro has aired since 1993. In December 2024, the film Nintama Rantaro the Movie: The Strongest Strategist of the Dokutake Ninja Corps was released, adapting the novel of the same name.
