Paramount+ Announces Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos, Renews Seven Havens

Both projects were revealed by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko at a New York Comic Con panel.

Paramount+ announced a new animated series, Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos, and renewed Avatar: Seven Havens for Books 3 and 4, according to cartoonbrew.com. The renewal was announced on the day the first three episodes of Seven Havens premiered.

Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko announced both projects during a New York Comic Con panel. Konietzko will serve as showrunner on Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos, which is produced by Avatar Studios and Nickelodeon Animation Studio.

The series follows a rebellious teenage Avatar who masters the four elements through globetrotting adventures. Panel attendees received a first look at Kuruk and his pet, Nikik. Paramount+ has not announced a premiere date for Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos.

Seven Havens release schedule

The first book of Avatar: Seven Havens has 13 episodes. Episodes 4-6 arrive on October 16, episodes 7-9 on October 23, and the final four on October 30.
