Precure Film Adds 8th Theater Bonus, a Director-Signed Thanks Card

Toei Animation announced on October 29 that it will release an eighth theatrical attendee bonus for the film Detective Precure! The Mysterious Garden and the Two Secrets, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp. The item, a "Detective Star Thanks Card", will be handed out starting November 6 and will end while supplies last.

The card carries a newly drawn illustration and a message from the film's director and its character designer and chief animation director. Only one design will be produced, and it is being kept secret until release.

With the addition of the eighth round, the film is expected to have more attendee bonus rounds than any previous entry in the Precure movie series.

Earlier rounds and box office

As of October 4, the film had announced bonuses up to a seventh round, the "Detective Star Future Card", which begins distribution on October 30. The first bonus, the "Pochitan Miracle Light", was limited to children of junior high school age and younger.

The film opened in theaters on September 18 and passed 1.28 billion yen in box office revenue and 1 million admissions roughly one month after release. It has become the highest-grossing standalone Precure film, surpassing Wonderful Precure! The Movie!.
