Kadokawa revealed the main staff and first key visual for the television anime adaptation of Rebuild World on Saturday. The announcement was reported by Anime News Network.

Tsukasa Sakurai serves as chief director at the animation studio Raging Bull, with Shingo Uchida directing the series. Naoki Tozuka is overseeing the series scripts, and Hiromi Katō and others are handling character designs.

The anime was first announced by Kadokawa at Anime Expo in early July 2023, and the main cast members were revealed by Dengeki Bunko later that same month.

The original story by Nahuse began publication on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō and Kakuyomu websites in February 2017, with its most recent chapter posted in August 2021. Kadokawa started releasing the series in print in 2019, and Kirihito Ayamura's manga adaptation launched in July 2019. The 16th compiled manga volume was published by Kadokawa on July 27.
