The Record of a Fallen Vampire Gets TV Anime in 2027

The adaptation of Kyo Shirodaira and Yuri Kimura's manga will star Yuma Uchida and Aino Shimada, with Mankyu directing at ZERO-G and Liber.

A TV anime adaptation of The Record of a Fallen Vampire has been announced for a 2027 release, according to Crunchyroll. A teaser trailer and a teaser visual were released alongside the announcement.

Yuma Uchida voices Akabara "Red Rose" Strauss, and Aino Shimada voices Bridget Irving Frostheart.

Mankyu directs the anime at ZERO-G and Liber. jimao handles character designs, and Evan Call composes the music.

About the original manga

The original manga, written by Kyo Shirodaira and illustrated by Yuri Kimura, ran in Monthly Shonen Gangan from 2003 to 2007 and was collected in nine volumes. Yen Press released the manga in English.

A sequel series, titled Vampire Juji-Kai: Inu ni wa Inu no Uta, is currently running in Monthly Shonen Gangan.
