Kadokawa Reveals 2nd Teaser for Sentenced to Be a Hero Smartphone Game

Kadokawa unveiled a new teaser visual and video for Sentenced to Be a Hero -Game of the GODDESS-, the upcoming smartphone game developed by VIC GAME STUDIOS.

Kadokawa unveiled the second teaser key visual and second teaser video for the smartphone game Sentenced to Be a Hero -Game of the GODDESS- on Saturday. The game is in development for Android and iOS devices.

The game will feature returning cast from the anime adaptation, and original light novel author Rocket Shokai is supervising the game's original scenario. VIC GAME STUDIOS is handling development, with Kadokawa publishing.

The Sentenced to Be a Hero light novel series launched on Kadokawa's Kakuyomu site in October 2020. Kadokawa began publishing the series in print in September 2021 with illustrations by Mephisto.

The anime adaptation debuted on January 3 at 10:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX with a 60-minute first episode special. The second episode aired on January 15, with subsequent episodes airing on Thursdays. The anime aired on 28 channels across Japan.

Amazon Prime Video in Japan started streaming the series on January 3, and other sites started on January 6. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired and also streamed a same-day English dub. The anime is getting a second season, and Crunchyroll will stream it.
