Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Returns for Season 3 With New Artist

D&C Media said the webtoon is coming back for a third season, with Sanjimseung taking over as illustrator and new Sung Suho cover art revealed.

D&C Media announced on KakaoPage that Solo Leveling: Ragnarok will resume with Season 3, confirming Sanjimseung as the webtoon's new illustrator, according to cbr.com. The publisher also revealed new cover art for the season featuring Sung Suho, the son of Solo Leveling protagonist Sung Jinwoo.

In a post on X, D&C Media said the series is "coming soon." No specific release date for Chapter 69, the first chapter of the new season, was given.

Sanjimseung takes over from JIN, who had drawn the webtoon until its second season ended in January. An illustration by Sanjimseung had appeared in the recently released Art of Solo Leveling companion book credited with the Ragnarok artist role, though the publisher had not made the change official at that point.

The webtoon went on an indefinite break after Chapter 68 closed out Season 2 in January, with JIN beginning mandatory military service in South Korea.

English release still unclear

No plans for an official English release of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok have been announced following the shutdown of Tapas, which had been the series' largest English-language platform.

Solo Leveling, written by Chugong and drawn by Dubu, follows Sung Jinwoo; the sequel centres on his son Suho, alongside characters such as Cha Haein.
