Takara Tomy has announced the RMZ-028 Blade Liger AB Van Specification model kit as the latest entry in its REALIZE MODEL series, according to cbr.com. The kit is scheduled for release in June 2027 at 8,250 yen, about US$53.
The model is 1/100 scale and, unlike motorized Zoids kits, relies on modern joint systems for articulation. Poseable points include the neck, shoulders, elbows, torso, limbs, knees, claws and tail.
The Blade Liger AB Van Specification is a revised version of the first REALIZE MODEL kit, the Blade Liger. It includes two mini-figures based on Van and Fiona, the protagonists of Zoids: Chaotic Century, designed to fit inside the head cockpit.
New Attack Boosters with extendable cannon barrels can be combined with the Laser Blades mounted on the sides of the body. The mane and fins feature opening E-shield generators, and the kit adds new E-shield effect parts.
