Takara Tomy Unveils Missing Link C-16 Arcee Figure
The pink-and-white Arcee figure comes with a Daniel exo-suit that turns into her head and ships on June 26, 2027.
Takara Tomy has revealed Missing Link C-16 Arcee (The Rebirth Type), a Transformers action figure scheduled for release on June 26, 2027, according to cbr.com. The figure is available for pre-order on Amazon Japan for about US$88.
The toy is a redeco of the character's previous C-16 mold in the Transformers: Missing Link series, finished in a pink and white color scheme modeled on her cartoon appearance. It transforms into a Cybertronian sports car and includes a small blaster.
The set also packs in a small Daniel in an exo-suit, which transforms into Arcee's head. The Daniel figure's Headmaster unit is compatible with actual G1 Headmaster toys and can be attached as their heads. The figure ships in a Generation 1-themed box.
A 1986 design finally realised
Arcee debuted 40 years ago, in 1986's The Transformers: The Movie. She never received a toy after that debut, though one was planned based on early concept art by Floro Dery; 2026 marks the 40th anniversary of her first appearance.
In the final episodes of the Western G1 cartoon, Daniel Witwicky used an exo-suit to transform into Arcee's head as a Headmaster — the setup this new figure recreates. A planned Headmaster toy for Arcee at the time would have been a redeco of the Headmaster Chromedome.
