Toyotarou Draws Geppuman in New 'Toyotarou Tries to Draw' Art

Dragon Ball Super artist Toyotarou has unveiled a new illustration of Geppuman, an anime-only character from the series, as part of his ongoing 'Toyotarou Tries to Draw' series. He shared the artwork on X with the comment, 'This month is Burpman.'

Geppuman is the second Dragon Ball Super anime filler character Toyotarou has drawn in a row for the series. Last month, he drew the Mogina Warrior, a character from Dragon Ball Super Episode 2.

The 'Toyotarou Tries to Draw' series has become a fan favorite, offering glimpses of characters that rarely appear in the manga. Geppuman, who originated in the anime, is the latest to receive this treatment.

Meanwhile, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, an upcoming anime remake, is set to begin airing in Japan on October 11, 2026. Reports suggest the first three arcs of the remake will contain only 19 episodes, compared to 46 in the original anime.
