USJ to Open Detective Conan World Attractions on February 10, 2027
Universal Studios Japan confirmed three attractions under the Detective Conan World banner, running until June 30, 2027.
Universal Studios Japan has confirmed a new attraction lineup called Detective Conan World, based on the Detective Conan anime series. The three attractions open on February 10, 2027, and will run until June 30, according to Anime News Network.
The lineup consists of Detective Conan The Escape, Detective Conan Live Restaurant with live entertainment, and Detective Conan Story Ride. USJ has not yet revealed details about any of the three attractions.
The park has hosted Detective Conan events on a regular basis. The series has appeared at USJ every year since 2017, including a theater-style live entertainment in spring 2024, and the two sides collaborated in August 2026 on Detective Conan x Back to the Future merchandise.
The Detective Conan television anime premiered on January 8, 1996, and marked its 30th anniversary on January 8, 2026. Crunchyroll has streamed the series as it airs since the 754th episode in 2014.
Gōshō Aoyama launched the original manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Shounen Sunday magazine in 1994; Viz Media publishes it in English as Case Closed.
