Marvel Comics has released preview pages for Wade Wilson: Deadpool #9, revealing that the time gun first seen in The Punisher #8 is loaded with 10 uniquely crafted bullets, according to Screen Rant. The issue is scheduled for release on October 14, 2026.
In the preview, Deadpool throws a katana at Punisher, causing him to drop the time gun. The weapon fires and opens a portal 10,000 years in the past, where it decapitates a saber-toothed tiger.
The time gun was introduced at the end of The Punisher #8, which closed on a cliffhanger with Punisher obtaining the weapon using a Level 5 S.H.I.E.L.D. security clearance card in a decommissioned S.H.I.E.L.D. vault that Deadpool and Blind Al were hired to break into.
