007 First Light Gets Free Extended Operations DLC
IO Interactive's 007 First Light adds New Game Plus, 00 difficulty, photo mode, and new TacSim missions in a free update out today.
007 First Light has received a free Extended Operations DLC update today, adding New Game Plus, a new 00 difficulty mode, a photo mode, and additional TacSim mission challenges.
The update also improves weapon handling fidelity and introduces a new mechanic where enemies can throw the player off ledges. New Game Plus unlocks after beating the campaign on any difficulty and also unlocks the 00 difficulty mode.
One new TacSim mission features the Aston Martin Valhalla in the Slovakian mountainside with timed challenges and optional rocket launchers. Another returns Bond to the Pearl resort in Vietnam to retrieve classified documents from a safe, with a redesigned villa interior.
Photo mode allows players to pause the action to take pictures, alter character poses, and adjust lighting, lens, and filters. Game director Dominic Vega is credited in a trailer accompanying the announcement, as reported by Eurogamer.

007 First Light was released in May. In October 2025, it was reported that the game passed 4 million sales in three months. Around the game's release, Xbox pulled out of a publishing deal for Project Fantasy, an online RPG IO Interactive still appears to be making.
