8BitDo unveils Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Pro 3 gamepad

The Pro 3 Bluetooth pad, styled after the City of Vilcabamba and the Lost Valley, ships on October 24, 2026, with pre-orders already open.

8BitDo has revealed the Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Edition, a controller themed around the original Tomb Raider, according to GameRant. Pre-orders are open now, and the pad launches on October 24, 2026.

The design draws on the ancient City of Vilcabamba and the Lost Valley from the first Tomb Raider game. It also ships with swappable ball-top joystick caps inspired by Lara Croft's teal tank top.

The controller is compatible with Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, SteamOS, Android and Apple devices.

Part of a wider anniversary slate

The original Tomb Raider launched on the Sega Saturn in Europe on October 24, 1996. The anniversary edition of the Pro 3 arrives on the same calendar date 30 years later.

Other Tomb Raider projects are also in the pipeline. A book titled Chronicles of the Tomb Raider is set for release on October 27, 2026, and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a full remake of the original game in Unreal Engine 5, arrives in February 2027. 8BitDo also plans to release a new Xbox Ultimate 3 controller later in October 2026.
