Deep Field Games has revealed the year two roadmap for Abiotic Factor, showing the first three of four planned stages. The studio detailed free updates and a second paid expansion for the co-op survival crafting game.
Community Update 5 will introduce a Mod Editor, a free standalone app with official mod support and an in-game mod management menu. The update also brings advancements to the quest system, another pet described as a foggy friend, item balancing and damage reworks, and the ability to wear ties around the head.
The Winter Update, which is free, adds a Brewing Bench, a Tree Grow Plot for crops such as apples, and Festive Feast recipes.
Entropic Break is the second paid Abiotic Factor DLC and takes place at the GATE Leaf Test Facility. It features forgotten islands, ocean waters, the Flesh Dimension, at least one more new sector, and multiple portal worlds including the game's biggest yet. A free update launching alongside Entropic Break will include boats, pets, fish, and more.
