Amazon Delays Many Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Pre-Orders Past Launch

Amazon notified a large number of customers who pre-ordered the Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time that their copies would not arrive on the November 5, 2026 launch day, according to Kotaku. Some of the delayed orders were pushed back to November 11 or November 12.
Frustrated buyers posted complaints on X on November 4 and November 5. Among them was retro gaming YouTuber 8-bit-Eric, who publicly criticised the missed delivery date.
Amazon's customer help account responded to at least one complaint, saying that unforeseen changes in obtaining the item can cause delays and directing the customer to the order page for updates. A customer service representative named James handled one of those replies.
The remake launched on Switch 2 on November 5, 2026, the same day the delivery complaints spread.
