Amazon UK and Argos Restock Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2

Both UK retailers now list the Zelda-themed console ahead of its October 29 launch, while Nintendo's own store remains sold out.

Amazon UK and Argos have restocked the Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition Nintendo Switch 2 ahead of its October 29 launch, according to GamesRadar+. Both retailers are currently listing the console as available.

Availability remains uneven elsewhere. Amazon US has no live listing pages for the Zelda-themed console at present, and Nintendo's own store is sold out of pre-orders and displays a "check back soon" message.

Best Buy has had the console in stock in recent days and plans an in-store midnight launch, while Target restocked the Zelda Switch 2 and its Pro Controller in recent days. Walmart has not opened a second run of pre-orders, and Smyths Toys has had no stock since its pre-orders last month.

Sold out on day one

In October 2025, the Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition Switch 2 sold out within its first day at pre-order. Nintendo said at the time that it had underestimated demand and reassured customers that restocks were on their way.

The bundle launches on October 29.
