Arc Raiders Goes Free for Four Days Alongside Frozen Trail Update
Embark's free trial runs 8th to 12th October on Steam, PlayStation and Xbox, with a PvE test following from 13th to 20th October.
Arc Raiders will be free to download and play for four days, from 8th to 12th October, Embark has announced. The trial is available on Steam, PlayStation and Xbox.
According to Eurogamer, the free trial grants access to the full Arc Raiders game, including the Pendola Pass map, which normally has to be unlocked through progression.
The trial coincides with the launch of the Frozen Trail update. That update adds a new map, several new Arc enemies, new weapons and gadgets, ammo and crafting tweaks, and a more standard battle pass.
PvE test follows the trial
After the free period ends, a PvE test for Arc Raiders runs from 13th to 20th October. It disables player-on-player damage.
Eurogamer notes that Arc Raiders has long since lost its massive launch audience.
