ArcheAge Chronicles early access priced at $29.99
XLGAMES confirmed a buy-to-play model with no extra fees, and outlined roughly 30 hours of early access content across three regions.
XLGAMES has set the early access price of ArcheAge Chronicles at 29.99 USD, or 36,000 Korean won, according to gamemeca.com. The game will be buy-to-play, with no additional fees charged after the initial purchase.
The early access plan was presented by the game's producer in a video on October 21. XLGAMES had previously said ArcheAge Chronicles would be buy-to-play rather than free-to-play.
The early access build covers three regions, with about 10 hours of content per area for a total of more than 30 hours of play. It also includes four classes — Fighter, Wild, Ironwall and Magic — a new dungeon called Throne of Hinon, and PvP content.
After early access, XLGAMES plans to gradually lift the gender restrictions attached to classes and add a third weapon to each class through updates.
