ArcheAge Chronicles Gets Free Steam Next Fest Demo With First PvP
XL GAMES will run a free ArcheAge Chronicles demo on Steam from October 19 to 26, 2026, with PvP combat and Diamond Shores content but no housing or trading.
XL GAMES announced that ArcheAge Chronicles will take part in October's Steam Next Fest with a free demo, according to gamerant.com. The demo runs from October 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM PDT to October 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM PDT and is exclusive to PC users on Steam.
The build marks the first time ArcheAge Chronicles' PvP combat has been playable, and it includes select content from an early region called Diamond Shores. Features such as housing and trading are not part of the demo.
Player progress made during the demo will not carry over to the early access release. The full game is also set to come to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S alongside PC.

XL Games plans for ArcheAge Chronicles to enter early access sometime in Q4 2026, and producer Ham Yongjin has said the team is working toward that launch. The studio's other MMORPG, ArcheAge S: Strait of Freedom, is planned for release in 2027.
