Aspyr Plans More Classic The Lord of the Rings Releases After War in the North Remaster

Aspyr Media has stated that it plans to release more classic The Lord of the Rings games following the launch of its The Lord of the Rings: War in the North remaster, according to screenrant.com.

In a statement celebrating the remaster's launch, Aspyr Media said the title would be the first The Lord of the Rings release put out by the studio.

The company also said fans can look forward to even more classic releases by Aspyr from the beloved franchise in the future. It did not name specific titles or dates.

Earlier Rings Titles

The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age was originally released in 2004 and received fairly mixed reviews at the time. The Lord of the Rings: War in the North returned as a remaster earlier in 2026.
