Attack on Titan 3 Launches December 10, 2026, With New Player Ending
Koei Tecmo and Omega Force's adaptation covers the full anime story but gives the player-created Soldier a brand-new ending.
Attack on Titan 3 will launch on December 10, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. Omega Force is developing the game and Koei Tecmo is publishing it.
Producer Hideo Suzuki said in an interview with Crunchyroll that the game follows the established storyline rather than introducing an alternate ending. Players create their own Soldier, a veteran member of the Scout Regiment, instead of playing as Eren Yeager, and that original protagonist receives a brand-new ending.
The game adapts the entire story, including the anime's fourth and final season. Scenes such as Eren's interactions with Armin in the Paths and Mikasa's cabin sequence will be reworked for the game.
Background
The original manga by Hajime Isayama ended in 2021 and drew backlash over Eren Yeager's fate and character arcs. The anime concluded in November 2023 with tweaks to the ending that earned a warmer reception. Attack on Titan 2 featured an original conclusion because the anime was still ongoing at the time.
