AUREUS GEMWORKS to Launch on Steam October 23, 2026

KarmaNeko's factory-automation card game will be priced at 1,200 yen (US$9.99) and support Japanese and English.

KarmaNeko announced that AUREUS GEMWORKS, a game combining factory automation with card game elements, will be released on Steam for Windows on October 23, 2026, according to gamebiz.jp. The game is priced at 1,200 yen (US$9.99) and supports Japanese and English. It is a single-player title.

In the game, the player becomes a protagonist who fell into a dimensional hole called the Abyss and is appointed factory manager of a gem factory by the golden machine lifeform Rilitrion. Players use cards from their hand to place equipment and build a production line connecting mining, processing, jewelry crafting and shipping.

Time stops during the construction phase, allowing players to consider placements while checking their limited hand and budget. Machine lifeforms called Automion companions assist with transport work after production starts. Coins earned can be used to buy new cards and develop a deck for the next factory.

The setting is a fictional world called Abyss Deus Machina, where machines, magic, various civilizations and gods coexist.
