Batman: Arkham Knight Mod Adds In-World Batsuit Switching
An updated fan mod by modder excinus lets players change suits using a bust statue in Wayne Tower's penthouse office, complete with a suit-up cutscene.
A fan mod for Batman: Arkham Knight has been updated by modder excinus to let players switch Batsuits inside the game world, according to Screen Rant. The update adds suit switching through a bust statue in Wayne Tower's penthouse office in Gotham City.
Interacting with the statue raises Batman's Batsuit and gadget compartments out of the floor, letting the player pick a suit. Once a suit is chosen, a suit-up cutscene without music plays in the office, and the game then returns seamlessly to gameplay in the selected suit.
An earlier version of the mod added a tab to the pause menu for changing Batsuits. Without the mod, players had to exit to the main menu to change cosmetic skins.
Older mods for Arkham Knight
Batman: Arkham Knight was released on June 23, 2015, developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive. A previous mod turned the Deathstroke boss fight into a hand-to-hand fight instead of a tank battle.
