Battlefield 6 Adds $30 Ultimate Shortcut Kit With Season 5 Update
The Ultimate Shortcut Kit instantly unlocks all guns for every class at 100% Mastery, alongside Battlefield 6's Season 5 update and Game of the Year Edition.
Battlefield 6 has added the Ultimate Shortcut Kit, a $30 microtransaction that instantly unlocks all guns for all four classes at 100% Mastery, according to GameSpot. The item arrives alongside the game's Season 5 update and its Game of the Year Edition.
The Ultimate Shortcut Kit also includes the Mortal Shriek dog tag and the Field Training: Cross Trained title. Class-specific shortcut kits are part of the same rollout: the Assault kit carries 7 weapons, 2 vehicles, a Frontliner Training Path and 4 gadgets; Support gets 7 weapons, 2 vehicles, a Fire Support Training Path and 4 gadgets; Engineer offers 7 weapons, 2 vehicles, a Combat Engineer Training Path and 7 gadgets; and Recon provides 7 weapons, 2 vehicles, a Spec Ops Training Path and 4 gadgets.
The update coincides with Battlefield 6 joining Xbox Game Pass. Reaction among players has been split, with some criticizing the kit as unfair for allowing purchases instead of grinding, and others welcoming it because they lack the time to level up guns.
Earlier shortcut kits cost more
Similar Ultimate Shortcut Kits for Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 were priced at $40 and $50 respectively. Battlefield 6 was 2025's best-selling game in the US, reportedly selling more than 20 million units in about three months. In October 2025, EA cut staff at the studio after launch.
