BeamNG.drive launches on PlayStation 5
The soft-body physics driving sim arrives on PS5 with Career, rally and Quick-Start modes, and a roster of fictional vehicles.
BeamNG.drive launched on PlayStation 5 on October 19, 2026, bringing the vehicle simulation to Sony's console. The release was reported by polygon.com.
The game is built around soft-body physics, which simulates individual vehicle components rather than treating each car as a single rigid object. BeamNG.drive features only fictional vehicles.
The PS5 version ships with a tutorial and recommended Quick-Start experiences for new players, alongside a Career mode. It also includes a rally mode built around a Rally Loop gamestyle.
BeamNG.drive first launched on Steam 11 years ago and has been in early access there since then. It currently ranks as the second-biggest driving game on Steam, behind Euro Truck Simulator 2 and ahead of Forza Horizon 6.
The PS5 version of Forza Horizon 6 was pushed back to January.
