Reddit user says band announced Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines remake

PC Gamer found no corroborating accounts of the claim, which a Reddit user says Genitorturers made at their Brooklyn show, and has sought comment.

A Reddit user reported that the industrial metal band Genitorturers told the crowd at their Brooklyn show that a remake of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is happening, according to PC Gamer. The claim is unconfirmed, and PC Gamer said it found no corroborating accounts of it.

Genitorturers played at The Meadows in Brooklyn on October 15, 2026, as part of their Live + Lewd Tour. The Reddit user, posting under the handle Few_Interview8222, said the announcement came from the stage during that performance.

PC Gamer contacted Activision and Genitorturers' representation for comment. Neither response was included in the report, and no publisher or developer has confirmed that a remake is in production.

Why the band has a link to the game

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, developed by Troika, featured licensed metal tracks on its soundtrack, including Genitorturers' Lecher Bitch as the theme of The Last Round bar. The game is available on Steam and GOG for $20.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 was released last year, in 2025. The original game's composer was Rik Schaffer, and an unofficial patch project has been maintained by modder Werner "Wesp5" Spahl.
